On Wednesday we visited a place called Manufaktur für Schönes der Vorwerker Diakonie, a factory where handicapped people make all kinds of woodwork, ceramics, textiles and a lot more. The founder of the factory took us to a tour around the place and we got to see people making blankets, rugs, ceramic matchboxes, wooden toys and all kinds of useful and pretty stuff.
The founder told us that they make a lot of customized works so the employees can really make the stuff the buyer wants and needs. The factory is not really a company, but an organization of Vorwerker Diakonie. All the employees get to work in a job they like and are fit to do, so the products are made with love. I was lovely to see all the products and how they were made!

On Wednesday we also visited the Hanse Museum, in which the door to the tour only opens every 2 minutes due to remaining the coolness and moisture balance of the first part, remains of the hansa buildings ruins. It felt as if we were stepping into the past when we took the elevator underground.
But you’ll see it better from the pictures!
Bye sweeties!
